About

I am a stay-at-home mom who loves to travel, eat great food, do Pilates and read books in my free time (also known as nap time). In the last six years I have lived in San Diego, Sydney, New York City, Hong Kong, and New York City again. Originally from Southern California, city living is a big change for me but I love the opportunities that it provides for me as a SAHM. Now that I have had my fist kid I am staying put in NYC while my husband still travels the world for work. Just one family’s Strange life.

  5. Hi! Thank you for liking my post! I think being a stay at home mum is fantastic. Don’t get me wrong, I know much how hard work young children are. Mine is so big now but I’ll never forget those early years. And yes, I wasn’t working when my daughter was born, so I was home most of the time too!

  6. I love your black and white photo banner. That is beautiful!

  11. I’m glad to find others who have discovered the joy of city living. Even downtown Dallas feels like a city these days, and for the first time in decades I feel like an urbanite. Being an old fart single man, I don’t have much in common with a SAHM, but your blog is well-written and fun to read. Thanks for checking mine out.

  12. Hi! Thanks for your recent like of my post on my site. I love your blog. Following …now!
