Your hair ages right along as you age. Most people think they have their hair products and hair routines all figured out, then their hair changes! The seven common signs of hair aging is thinning, breakage, frizz, split ends, unruly grays, lackluster color, and dryness. For almost ten years Pantene has been working on a formula to help slow down this aging process and the result is the new Pantene Expert Collection AgeDefy and Keratin Repair hair products. I learned all about the new Pantene products at the Momtrends event a few weeks ago in New York City.

The new Pantene Expert Collection was designed for women who are having challenges with the current offerings of hair care products. The collection goes above and beyond the original Pantene collections. I have been using the Pantene Keratin Repair shampoo and conditioner for over two weeks now and I am very happy with the results and the price point makes buying the Pantene Expert Collection even better. The Pantene Keratin shampoo claims to fight split ends, frizz, dullness and dryness within the first washing.

I took the Pantene Hair Age Quiz on YouBeauty.com and it says my hair looks 28 years old (younger than my real age)! However, this is based on the current treatment of my hair, and I know a lot of damage was done to my hair in my youth as a swimmer, lifeguard and an avid blowdryer user.

Also at the Momtrends event the attendees were introduced to Echo Design Group they showcased a beautiful, colorful collection of scarves – with tips on how to wear them. Plus on those really bad hair days you can use one of their beautiful scarves to cover up your hair.

Fun fact of the day, did you know…
The longest documented hair length is 18 feet, 5 inches! Xie Quiping of China (who was 44 at the time!) set this record in 2004. Since hair grows about six inches per year, the tips of her hair were nearly 37 years old.
